Inspired by the programmable, low-power, and reflective display capabilities of E Ink Prism's color-shifting ePaper, Delvaux set out to redefine the possibilities of luxury accessories. "We've long explored ways to integrate ePaper film technology into everyday fashion," said E Ink Chairman Lee Cheng-hao. "Partnering with Delvaux—an icon of luxury—has allowed us to unlock new applications for ePaper, harmoniously blending traditional leather with E Ink Prism's color-changing ePaper materials. This seamless fusion of innovative ePaper and heritage materials honors craftsmanship while embracing future-forward innovation."

"Delvaux's Helios collection represents the ultimate marriage of tradition and innovation—a commitment that pushed both E Ink and Delvaux beyond our comfort zones to achieve something historic," noted Delvaux CEO Jean-Marc Loubier. "Since January 2022, our two-year collaboration has evolved from discovering E Ink's revolutionary technology at CES in Las Vegas—with its potential to integrate new materials, light, and color—to intensive R&D that successfully merged ePaper technology with our leatherworking heritage, resulting in extraordinary handbags designed for everyday use."

Delvaux's "le Caprice" and "le Pin" models mark the first application of E Ink's ePaper technology in the luxury leather goods market, with both companies working to bring the collection to global audiences.

Founded in 1829, Delvaux has remained at the forefront of luxury leather craftsmanship for nearly two centuries, renowned for its exceptional artisanship and creative excellence. Based in Brussels, Belgium, the former luggage maker anticipated the travel revolution as early as 1908, patenting the world's first women's leather handbag, "le Princesse"—earning its title as the inventor of the modern handbag.

As a global leader in ePaper technology, E Ink is committed to delivering innovative solutions through advanced manufacturing while prioritizing sustainability. The company actively reduces carbon emissions in product design and manufacturing, holds carbon footprint certifications, and provides clients with sustainable design frameworks for integrating ePaper products.
